I am Bianca, a teacher with a unique gift for sharing Pilates and healing practices online
In 2015, I founded a thriving Pilates and yoga studio in the south of France which continues to welcome clients from all over the world
It is at The Studio Côte d’Azur that I developed my unique approach to the human body, stress and well being. After teaching hundreds of clients both in person and online, I came to observe patterns in how we move and why we have physical and emotional pain.
At the root, I am trained as a contemporary Pilates teacher with over 10,000 hours of client teaching experience
I am qualified as a Pilates teacher with Body Arts and Science International – a leading Pilates education academy which inspires its students to become masters in the art of movement and science of anatomy. I have attended Pilates courses in Italy, Cape Town, Greece and Amsterdam and studied in the presence of leading BASI Faculty including Rael Isacowitz, Inge Pretorius and Sheri Long. I have since gone on to further my studies in Pilates with courses in injury and pre-and post-natal movement.
I have integrated meditation, intuition and other mind-body practices into my Pilates teaching
The more I worked with different people, the more I discovered the limitations of the Pilates method. It felt like something was missing but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Through my own healing journey, I came to discover the beautiful benefits of other practices including breath work, meditation and traditional talk therapy. I spent hours and hours reading, studying and figuring out how to heal from stress and the effects it has on the body. Today I weave together my own lived experience, with powerful and healing practices.
I realised my passion and skill for teaching clients online
When the Pandemic closed our studio in 2020, I pivoted my teaching and began working more online. Clients who had met me in France began to work with me exclusively online, including clients in Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and the UK. As time went on, I discovered both the beauty and challenges of online teaching and learned how to adapt my teaching to this new format.
My clients are my greatest teachers
I have learned how to approach each client individually, confidentially and with non-judgement, allowing them the safe space to explore their inner resources and heal from both physical and emotional pain. I recognise the importance of working holistically, looking at the same problem from different lenses; and understanding what works for one client might not work for another.
